Senior Managing Partner

Jackee Budesta Batanda is a short story writer, journalist and entrepreneur. She runs SuccessSpark Brand Limited, an educational company that runs writing classes and also provides ghost writing services.  The Africa Regional winner of the 2003 Commonwealth short story Competition, her stories have been performed on the BBC World service, BBC3 and radio stations throughout the Commonwealth as well as appearing in various international anthologies. She has written for publications including the New York Times, The Boston Globe, Guardian (UK), The Mail & Guardian, The Sunday Times and Sunday Independent (SA) and Aljazeera Magazine. She was the recipient of a 2010 Uganda Young Achievers Award, shortlisted for the 2012 Trust Women Journalist Award and named by the Times (London) in 2012 as one of twenty women shaping the future of Africa. She was named among 39 writers under 40 from Sub-Saharan Africa likely to shape the future of African literature. She has run writing workshops in the US, UK, South Africa, Uganda and Malawi. Content Development and Client Relations Manager

Joel Benjamin Ntwatwa is a writer, digital content and social media specialist. He was a member of the highly efficient team at Node Six for four years. He helped create a strong online presence for Proggie Uganda, an events curation website. In addition, he was directly involved in the Content Management of all Node Six projects.

Also formerly with The Pearl Guide Uganda, another young Ugandan team that created events such as Uganda Travel Month, Kampala Restaurant Week and the show Discover Uganda TV, he brings to the table, focus, commitment, dedication, hard work and creativity.

A blogger, writer and social media observer, Joel believes in the use of information to create a culture that is socially conscious and aware of its potential.
